Amer Mushtaq

Amer is a passionate civil litigator who advocates for his clients through all avenues of dispute resolution. Amer obtained his law degree from Osgoode Hall Law School and was subsequently called to the Ontario bar. He is a member of the Advocates’ Society, Ontario Bar Association and Canadian Bar Association.

Prior to starting his own practice, Amer worked at one of the most prestigious national law firms in Canada. He worked for and against some of the top lawyers in Toronto and was involved in various complex legal matters. Amer has provided assistance to a variety of individuals and corporate clients including financial institutions, investment firms, telecommunication firms, transportation companies, manufacturers, suppliers, industrial recycling companies and insurance firms.

Amer has the unique ability to quickly grasp his clients’ business operations and properly contextualize their legal issues. This ability stems from Amer’s diverse work and cultural experience. Prior to becoming a lawyer, Amer worked as a consultant in information technology holding a Master of Engineering degree, which allowed him to assist clients in a wide range of industries including government, manufacturing and not-for-profit.

Amer is fluent in Urdu, Punjabi and Hindi.
